The day TXC broke the rules

• Today was one that will go down in the history books of TXC!  We’ve known about this for quite a while and I’m glad it finally came!
• I’ve heard about people getting tattooed on stage while a pastor preaches but never a pastor getting tattooed on stage WHILE he preaches. 
• I was totally glad that it was Donovan having millions of needle holes poked into his skin and not me.  I was the original candidate but that lasted about 1.5 seconds.
• I find it so crazy how we can tattoo someone (a pastor at that) in church and no one wants to shoot us!  I’m glad TXC is a church where the day after, I don’t have to worry about the possibility of looking for a knew job!
• It was rad having a Christian tattoo artist do the ink.  Knowing that he and Donovan prayed before they started was incredible and the fact that he sees his art as worship to God is awesome.
• I couldn’t believe how many people there were today.  We’ve been encouraging people to invite friends for the series starting next week and the fact that they started showing up this week was totally unexpected.
• It’s been two weeks since I’ve preached and I’m ready to get back in the saddle.  It’s been nice without the stress but in a sick and twisted sort of way, I miss it.
• I’m looking forward to see what God is going to do in this next series.  I KNOW there are going to be people’s lives that are changed and that’s what this is all about.  It never gets old.
