Today was week #4 our series called Hostage. One week to go. The further we get into this series, the more intense it gets. There is a lot on the line. People’s minds. Hearts. Passions. Wills. This is a very real fight going on and we are in the middle of it. There is a real battle going on – between the worship or self and the worship of the God of the Universe. We are doing everything that we know how and praying that God does everything that we can’t to see more and more people walk out of the cage that they are locked in and walk away from the myriad of different things they are held hostage to. I keep hearing of story after story of people choosing to live free. Nothing makes me more excited. A few highlights from today:
- I had fun with the Hulk hands during the gathering. Maybe a little obnoxious but I had fun.
- The microphone issues were testing me in the area we were talking about – ANGER! Flippin’ batteries.
- My first experience of being felt up mid message was today. Good thing Rick the sound guy had a good reason!
- More people than I realized have issues with anger. Glad I’m not alone
- I had messed up dreams last night. Dreams of demons tormenting me and people commanding them to get off. None the less, I had a pretty crappy sleep last night!
- Had some more guests show up because of our Facebook ad! Yesssss! It’s paying off.
- Next week there is a multimedia element in the gathering that is going to be amazing. It will infuriate people, make them squirm, turn their stomach in knots, make the hair on their neck stand up and give them hope.
HAHA! It was rather amusing, because Rick was actually trying to be as discreet as possible! You could see he was trying to NOT disturb your speech, but… well… yeah… pretty funny stuff…
